Unit outlines

You will build on the core skills learnt in fourth year and progress to develop your diagnostic reasoning and analytical thinking skills. Online case studies form part of the learning environment, although first hand clinical experience with patients is the most valuable learning resource.

Aims

The aims of fifth year are to expand your problem solving and diagnostic skills, and your skills in developing an appropriate management plan for most patients focusing on common and important conditions.
