Prerequisites

Prerequisites for entry into second year Pharmacology units are:

  • 12 points of Level 1 Biology/Human Biology units, and
  • 12 points of Level 1 Chemistry units.

The simplest way to ensure you have these prerequisites is to complete the Life Sciences (Biological) Foundation package in your first year.

It is also possible to attain these prerequisites by completing other Foundation packages, but care needs to be taken to ensure that 12 points of both Biology/Human Biology and Chemistry units are achieved.

Successful completion of our two second year Pharmacology units (PHAR2210 and PHAR2230) is a prerequisite for entry into our third year Pharmacology units (PHAR3301 and PHAR3302).
